A very happy new member.

Hello all my name is Ben and I am new to this particulare forum.

As the title says I am particularily happy today as I have purchased a new toy, a beautiful secondhand Daystate Huntsman Classic with Silencer (.22 - Left hand stock and action).

Having sold my AA S410f last year due to job relocation to the urban jungle I thought I would never be hunting again. After getting tired of town life I am thankfully moving back to the countryside again and will continue the hobby I love.

When I was looking to purchase a new rifle I wanted something different to the S410f (I didn't really like the bolt action, seemed vague and not very smooth). After reading a lot of reviews and watching a lot more videos I settled on either:

BSA Ultra ms - a full hunting set up for around £600 was very tempting.

BSA Scorpion se - lovely looking gun, good shot count, consistency of the new valve system.

AA S410 TDR - compromise on the bolt, an s410 for £600 which would normally cost me £700 (I am left handed and so end up paying more for the privilege and walnut stock).

BSA R10 mk2 - a lot of bad opinions (mainly from Weihrauch owners it would seem). Seemed the Mk1 has tarnished this beautiful rifle.

AA S510 - the side lever is super smooth and ergonomically very very nice for me.

Anyway the final two were at the absolute upper limit of my budget.

So I decided to take a trip to B.A.R. to purchase one of them (It was more than likely going to be the Scorpion).

Long story short, that day a chap had traded in the Huntsman for an electronic action rifle (horses for courses). He had only had the Huntsman for 7 days (receipts for proof) and had not even fired off a full charge. I could not believe it, I have longed for this rifle since it's release but never concidered it due to going above my limit.

In the end I payed £600 for what is essentially a new £800 bit of kit. :D

They threw in a tin of Falcon accuracy plus too.

Does anyone have experience with the rifle? The pellets? Or both together?

Sorry for bleating on a bit but I am all smiles and needed to share my joy.
