Rolfe 2
Took the rabbiting lurchers and the ratting terrier for a bit of a play-day, walking around the conservation strips of the rape fields rapidly coming into flower after this latest wet spell. The old black and white lurcher bitch never leaves my side now (unless a bunny gets up) she broke her front leg a couple of years back and it is pinned and plated, it has never stopped her working though. The other two Herberts.........the terrier and the Bedlington cross couldn't stop working if they tried and pretty soon got soaked hunting rabbits amongst the tall rape crop.........Good fun was had by all.
