Sharper 60
Hi all, I am based in Plymouth, Devon and I am new to ferreting. On the advice of a friend who used to ferret years ago, I have taken on a young Jill from a rescue centre with the intention of working her. I have permissions for one Dartmoor location that looks like it could be productive and have tried the weasel out once on a few small warrens. She seems keen and systematic in her approach to it so being that she was a stray, I wouldn't be suprised if she has done this before! I know it is coming towards the end of the season but I was wondering if there was anybody based in the south west that would be willing to lend some hands on advice. My friend has been a great source of info but I don't think he ever did it that seriously, and I would like to gain as much experience as I can so that I reduce the risk of harm to ferret and other wildlife alike. I am happy to lend a hand in any way so that I can get some more experience so if anybody is willing to take a sensible yet inexperienced person out I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance, Sam Quote Link to post
