All the signs are telling me its time to call it the end of ferreting season...but Im still desperate for a big bag day with a catch over 30 if poss.

over 40 would be my best day yet and Im gagging to do it before end of this seaon.

Ive got at least another couple of weeks maybe more at a push,in most of the spots i have been going this year we have been finding nests and milky dows.. so its gonna be a long shot for me to drop on a new spot thats going to produce a big bag.

anyone needing a hand on a big job let me know and I,ll willingly help out with dogs.ferts, nets, transport etc etc.

im already looking forward to next year and the plans I have made to improve upon my hunting pack.

I hope you have all enjoyed this season as much as I have.

Thanks to all the lads for the very kind invites out on thier land.

Roll on next winter

good luck One and All.

why are you still using ferrets when you already state there is milky dows about,i have already seen young about for atleast 3 weeks in scotland, all you are doing is killing nexts years rabbits,i cant understand you guys

Some spots have been different..It has varied around the country.. Sometimes you have no choice if your on pest control jobs.

Some places they are still ok with this last cold snap we have had.. It varies for all of us my friend.

The way things are going with the climates..when are they not breeding..? They hav'nt stopped all year round im some places.

if its pest control job then you must be being payed for it then :whistling:

Money has been offered on the odd occasion when I have been helping out friends on bigger jobs etc etc.. but i have never accepted money for something I actively pursue for my own personal enjoyment...

I have and would be happy to pay for my sport my friend.

everyone else does. think how much people spend on Fishing, shooting, golfing,or even watching sport.. Theres not many things you can do that dont cost you somewhere along the way.
