Well I started looking for a new pup late last year I managed get back in touch with some old mates to get the word round and see what's on the floor well it turned out on of my best mates hasn't got enough work for his bitch and asked me if I wanted give her some graft well not ideal but better than nothing I took her out to a public place I wanted to see what she was like recall etc well let's just say not good so that was one thing work on but one thing was clear she knew what she's bred for. Next trip out was a lamping session the rabbits arnt over running the farm but there's a few about well I picked a good rabbit Putin the field slipped the bitch she charged the beam over ran it the proceded to work the field well I was a little ticked off but it was only the second time out so I put it down to being over keen I let her watch a mates bitch a few times which is a really good solid bitch I could see the bitch was now following the lamp and spotting aswell so I let her go again this time she was abit more steady and chase on a few turns and bunny is in the bag I was buzzing for the bitch that said she was so happy she didn't really want give that one back. Now I could go on forever about the last few weeks but to cut a long story short she's getting fit now and she is super keen catching regular both day and night she's attacking cover like a terrier and even marking sets that are holding to be fair she's picked up alot from my mates bitch her recall is loads better she's retrieving rabbits better now aswell not saying the little bitch Is a world beater by any stretch but we've got a good bond now and I couldn't be happier with her that said last week the litter sister who is owned by another good mate joined the me and lilly on our forays and she's a good honest bitch aswell needs lose abit and get fit she's blowing alot but I after two trips out it clear her recall is much better she's going lamping tonight first trip out ive got a good feeling about this bitch on the lamp I'm going out for a walk at dinner and I'm taking my camera hopefully get some pictures up of both bitches.
