ladder trap

I am currenlty building a ladder trap. Just looking at the other trap they are a V shape! Was wondering if they can be flat like a larson with the ladder in the middle or do they have to be V shaped?????

Mine is V shaped, the reason for this I believe is when the crow is inside he'll fly up to the highest point in the trap. This will be a dead end for him, I'd not make one flat topped to be honest.

Needs to have the v to stop the crows from escaping. If you want to have a flat top why dont you make a funnel trap instead.

Ill be putting the V shape on later Going to test it in my garden for two weeks before going to the wood!!ll Only a small trap should catch atleast 3-5 in one go!
