reflexx 2
Hi All I have been thinking about a small, portable lamping setup recently. I have a LED Lenser P7 torch, which outputs around 200Lumen with a variable focus beam. It will throw a tight beam a considerably long distance and I thought it would work pretty well as a close range lamping setup. A friend and I go airsoft shooting and have scope mounts and remote switches for the torches which I thought would work pretty well? Does anyone have any experience of using this kind of setup and would it be worthwhile giving it a go? Thanks Matt Quote Link to post
12gauge 2
i used a deben ledray for 12 months it all worked fine for rabbits but just got a ultrafire with a green led and it far better & only £20 you can see for 70 /80 yards may be more top bit of kit i all so have a nd30 which is also good and you can focus the beam. but no good to scan the field Quote Link to post
reflexx 2
My mate has an ultrafire. Does yours take standard size batteries or the harder to find 2/3 size aaa batteries? Where did you get your ultrafire from? I was looking at getting a green/red filter for the lenser (they make a kit for the T7 but fits the P7 fine) Matt Quote Link to post
12gauge 2
it takes 2 cr123 batteries got it off ebay came with the pressure switch i would not get a filter as they cut the light right down better to get a red or green led but i think the red is a bit dim Quote Link to post
