Like walking on crisp packets . . .

Recommended Posts

When i got home from work earlier it was windy, dark and wet. So i hit the sack for a few hours with the intention of getting up and going for a good wander tonight. However, on stepping out the wind had gone, the rain had gone and the temp had dropped leaving the grass crispy as feck. So it was like walking on crisp packets.

Got three very long slips at hedge sitters in the first couple of fields, had two, should have been three. He had lifted the third one, but couldnt stop in time and slammed through a hedge and dropped a few feet into an over grown ditch, losing the rabbit from his jaws, lucky bunny.

Gave up and came home, not worth educating what little game is about.

We have fat rabbits, but that one is also carrying. Not far gone, couple of weeks at most. But its standard now mate, i'd say 80% of all the does ive had since the start of this month have been in kit, and thats from several parts of wales and england. :censored: Yet to see any puff balls on the lamp though.
