Well after some cracking days over the recent month we tackled the dread overgrown hedge left on this perm.

Not think just untrimmed and the old double hedge to stop the cows touching that has grown into a monster.

But loaded with coneys the downside is purse nets are really onlt feasable on the outside holes very rough for the dog to course inside the hedge .

But we cut gaps for our short 20 yard hemp longnets and ever 20 yards and started where finnished the other day and we rolly polly the ferts up the hedge in sections as its all conected driving them up the hedge.

We had some cracking sport but the wind was so strong it was blowing the purse nets off the holes and the longnet was shear hell catching on the blackthorn.

We done only a 1/4 of the hedge with 27 in the bag but missed 15 or 20 that was going back into ferreted sections.

So we upped stick for a quick easy two or three holers which allowed for some pics on the dog and the old man in the ditch trying to prize one of the dog.

And as always the little helper the Robin
