out ferreting on new permission

went 4 a few hours ferreting yesterday only a small place we only got 6 but missed afew and never had a marking dog with us,

driving off the farm and seen a farmer in the field over the road ,so we pulled over and asked him for permission ,he said yeah showed the land and its bigger than all my farms put together must of seen 50 bunnys just from the road ,

 

so we went back today and only 14 ,mist afew thanks to bolt holes under the moss ,there was a massive black rabbit that slipped net,

we wasted a lot of time trying to do massive sets with only 1 ferret plenty of banging but nothing bolting ,after that

we decided to look 4 little sets but nothing wanted to bolt did more digging than anything,

 

1 of the rabbits from yesterday had young in side couldnt beleive it .

Looks ok to me mate u only using one ferret we net 40 to 60 holes and peole are telling me to use 6 but we only have two but just got myself a hob to bread me own stock he is quite bigger than me hills what u have mate GOOD LAND NEW PERMITION ?

good day then just shows how one permission leads to the next with word of mouth and passing a farmer on way nice one

i have 2 ferrets hob + jil but only 1 collar at the mo ,av just seen that video on here and i think i will have 2 invest

in a long net and new collar but theres no rush plenty of sets just need to mooch the land ,i think hes gona let us lamp it

but were just gona ferret for now
