Foxgun Tom 75
Well guy's the Zander appeal came to an end on the Sunday at the Scottish Game Fair And we presented him with a cheque for £2,100 + £400 he received from the traders at Selby Game Fair!! but the biggest contribituters were you!!! the ordinary Lurcher, Terrier men and women. It was you who made the youngsters recovery an awful lot easier and I'd like to thank you all The Traders at the SGF also donated a great deal of goods to auction and we held two, The first one, at THE FIFE AND KINROSS WORKING TERRIER CLUB Show on the Sunday!! My thanks to the 2 Jock's, Mathew, Colm, and Tam for his auctioneering skills and of course!! the rest of the club members . The second auction was held at the Scottish Association for Countrysports and Ian Clark its Director did a cracking job as an auctioneer. This young lad (Zander) received a degree of emotional stability and support from the working dog community, that I don't think would be available from other factions in minority sports. The only downside was I missed the presentation because I was trying to cadge a left handed gun from a Gunsmith friend I know. It seem's that the representative of the NWTF wanted to hand over their Chairmans award and quickly go for something to eat?? and the cheque was handed over at the same time at the end of the day, its the real people that matter (Zander and you guy's) Thank's Everybody Tom Ps I forgot to mention Deako (Decoying.co.uk), on the Saturday night in the beer tent, he had eyes like dog's b@lls after he had a good bevy. He and the rest of the guy's went back to his trade stand and started on the whisky when I seen him on the Sunday morning he was not a pretty sight . Out of the pigeon decoying stands his was the busiest and best because he took time out!! to spend talking to the lads and also his down to earth aproach. That's a fiver you owe me for the advert Deako Also met Gasopode and had a chat, bumped into Vixen as well"" "Feck Me" more rossetes for the Queen of the Border Terriers :11: :11: :11: :11: :11:
