Paul in North Lincs 16
....a very handsome boy indeed............................what does the future hold for him???? and how is his training coming on?? Heres mine young lad almost 6 months now!.............................with tail!!!!!!!!!!!.....................me thinks he needs a bath!!! Quote Link to post
LDR 29
He'll be used for beating on a small syndicate we go on and then bushing and flushing stuff for my lurcher to run, his training went great when we first got him sit/stay was spot on, he aint so keen on it at the min, but the summer is gonna be spent drilling the stop whistle into his head and getting him steady round game, his retrieve is spot on, water no probs, so it's just the 2 most important things left to instill in him!!! Paul in North Lincs 16
good....mines suddenly found out what his nose is for...and seems less reluctant to do as he's told in the last day or so....going to have walk him on a lead for a week or so to pull him back into line! Quote Link to post
LDR 29
Yep, he started once he figured what his nose is for!!! i'm not too worried really as the season is a long way off, just wish i had use of a rabbit pen locally, would speed the job up of steadying to game!!! do you know what lines yours is out of?? Bracken is out of rytex lines, a friend has one of similar lines and she said they can be quite hot when young and you're trying to train them, it makes total sense now, the pace he has when he's out is amazing, just needs steadying down and he'll be a handy little tool!!!
