Webley & Scott 812 FAC Conversion

Hi everyone. I've just got my FAC back with my Section 1 shotty slot, finally! Anyway I was always under the asumption that I could convert my standard 812 to FAC in a similar vein to an escort or benelli, simply by sending it to my gunsmith who would remove the crimp, magazine restrictor pin and then simply pop on a mag extension tube. Having read through other peoples post regarding magazine extensions for escorts, I knew they were a pig to locate but try getting one for a webley. I have spoken to Midway UK, TW Chambers and many others and shockingly TW Chambers told me it is impossible to convert a standard 812 to FAC. I find this hard to believe seeing as it's so easy for other makes. Can someone please advise me differently as he suggested my only option was to sell up and buy and FAC version from the factory.
