blade1of1 59
Hi tom this may help mate before you get the farmer to sign you permission mate make sure you put your mates names on it. And make sure he nows put your regastration ov your car on it and inform the police you have it and they will phone the farmer to confirm it and you will be safe. Allways keep your permission on you are put on your dash board ov your car because me and my shooting partner had some trouble with the police about 5 weeks ago and they said if only one ov are names were on it one ov us would get arrested because we wernt legaly supposed to be there so hope this helps mate good luck. Squirrel_Basher 17,102
The above is bollocks im afraid .A verbal agreement is still binding in law as to shooting /field sports activities and as long as they can verify that one of you has permission verbally then any others are there by your invite and you are responsible for their conduct .All written sporting agreements contain the phrase 'lawful person or persons' . In a recent misunderstanding with a rural officer however ,it was made clear to me that written permission may soon be needed or the guns will be seized until permission can be proved .Dont know if thats right or not or whether he was just putting the pressure on a bit .
