Finaly got the chance to go up reeth with a mate on his permission on tuesday night so a thought a would take the pup along with me mates pup and an experianced dog.

Any way when we got there the fields were water logged and realy slippy any way we decided to slip the older dog whiched picked the first rabbit up with a struggle as she was sliding all over and took a few tummbles. Next was my mates pup witch ran a rabbit to the wall and a the rabbit claped so that was caught , this pup had caught plenty before and knew what to do following the lamp spotting the quarry and so on.

Next slip was for my pup a squatter in the middle of a field (took a while for the pup to see it) any way of down the beam he went straight for it and as he got a few foot off it the rabbit bolted out from it seat left of the dog, well the pul tryed to turn legs sliped from under him and thats that he was sliding down the field on his side. Called him in checked him (fine).

Next slip rabbit ran in front of us sliped my pup, ran the bunny up and down the field goes in for the strike, back on his face sliding so that one gets away called him back in check him again all fine apart from a mud coved dog so any way from that point we just sliped the bigg dog which baged about 10 so in all an unlucky night for the pup.
