depends what your at. the younger the better, i would always take a pup out around 3 to 31/2 months just to get used to all around it and let them be pups and let them listen and watch whats going on thats just me so each to there own atb danny as for rats 6 months

Everything counts, your voice and body language everything, the earlier you can get them out mooching the hedgerows and getting used to stock the better. If you do enough mooching when they're pups you shouldn't need to piss about with them, breeding and curiosity should do the rest.
