Adam - i am pretty lucky where i live, plenty of land, just unfortunately not huge amounts of game, and hitting it every season obviously has something to do with that, still it keeps me busy.

 

Muddy - that jill is a star mate, she is only young, would have been two this summer. She is probably my second best jill, out of five. I have been using her a lot at the start of this season to get her back into the swing, and because my best jill has been at the tail end of a phantom pregnancy. I think i need to give her some time off though, as in the last week she has had some epic battles, and has a bit of a gash on her leg, a long scratch under her neck and chin, and a cut on her face. The best thing about using her late evening is i know if she kills she will come out after staying long enough for me to get a mark, and if she cannot shift it she will pull the eyes out before killing it, and that usually forces a bolt.
