tag 29 Posted August 27, 2011 Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 this threads bo**ox , if a dogs worth owning , then its worth paying for , .... if a litter of pups are bred out of 2 workers and theres a few left then why shouldnt the new owners pay for them , at least it shows some sort of commitment from the start , if all pups were gifted whats to say the new owners wouldnt just sell them on ?? i understand if a bitch has say for example 15 pups ...... theres just no need to raise that many , but just because all are not spoken for before born doesnt mean they need culling does it , ... ive had dogs gifted and ive paid for dogs from complete strangers , ive also sold pups and made some very good mates from lads that have kept in touch , and been out and seen the offspring working ,i'd bet any money that the people bitching on this thread have bought dogs from strangers at some point ?? i dont believe that you all had them gifted from none peddling friends , ........ Selling pups doesn't mean you're a peddler. I'd say breeding them young and year after year or having multiple litters going at the same time is a good indicator. Breeding just to make money and not giving a toss about the dogs working abilities will lower the quality of pups available if there's more peddlers cr*p than proper bred pups.
