Gaz_1989 9,539
When I got my big hob kit off a local lad on here, he advised that I squeak my lips when feeding or handling to get him used to me and in time he will come to the sound. Well I've always done it and now do it without thinking wether I'm feeding them or getting them out to play etc. Anyway, I've just been sat on the sofa with the pup trying to do some bonding and saw the albino kit trotting up the drive and under the car. Couldn't believe my eyes, I must of been careless when putting them away earlier. So I scooped up the albino and put him in the box. Then off to find the poley. I could hear rustling the other side of the fence in a field so I jumped over and was sure he was in there, but the grass was chest height and the bushes were 8 foot deep or more. So I cursed for a few minutes and then crouched down squeaking my lips. Well I couldn't believe it. He came running to me, jumping and bouncing all the way and straight into my hands. Will deffo be squeaking all future ferrets as I may of lost this one tonight if I hadn't got a way of calling him! Thanks for reading Gaz Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,217
Aye mate, works a treat with some of them, they are smart animals. I find once they have been worked a bit though they tend to come less, when there is scent about. Quote Link to post
