thurso jack 3
no expert but id say leave her to next year shes still young, let her forget about the bad experiance over the summer and start again next season. Quote Link to post
marko 30
very near the end of season and the young dog is doing well let her have a play for a few months before you know it the new season will be here. Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Toni; You ever touched a mains powered fence set to Bull? It's really quite the experiance, I can assure ye! One of my own Dogs, my little JRT was jumping up at my donkey once and caught the tape under her arm pits. That too must have been something else. But she too was young and still jumps up at that donkey. They Do forget. I agree with the above absolutely. Keep her away from the form of experiance that 'shocked' her so for now. Then, later, just be bloody careful of where ye let her run. But, f*ck; Do those things Hurt! Quote Link to post

Guest Shameless
same as the above mate, give her time she'll come round hopefully.once witnessed a lurcher piss against a two strand elec fence, not pretty. hey I've done it you what its like you naturaly look for something to piss again dont ya, it was a hard windy night just carried 11 rabbits and those that really do it know that they take some carrying f*****g rabbit fluff in my face absolutely knackered and pissed on the fence with out thinking, it felt like i had been hit with a hammer either side of my ball bag and the nob shrinkage was instant, my old man nearly pissed himself with laughter and nearly 20yrs later its still his favourite story Quote Link to post
