STUNTMAN 552
FLAH- you live in the worst part of the country for terriers. Terrier work is almost non-extistent there. Some have had allot dogs lost to snakes bites comming from holes . Patterdales are go to ground dogs, coons ,possums and everything else is living in trees right now. I would go father north into GA and find some woodchucks now and coons will use holes in the winter months. Quote Link to post
TEXICAN 10
We have the same problem here in North Central TX. Our best luck is along creek beds we tend to find coon in bank hallows usually up under exposed tree roots. Wet or dry creek beds seem to hold lots of game, armadillos, opposums,& the occasional grey fox. I like the smaller drainage type creeks that are usually dry seem to always be loaded. But like Stunt said traveling is the best way for guys like us to get on chucks and badger. Quote Link to post
