good day

Recommended Posts

been having a few problems on a few farms i got which are all joined up with foxes,we have tried lamping the farms and have been checking the earths reguar due to pheasents being taken alot, with the help of 6 other members of the sites and a few of there freinds and a few of this site we pushed all the avaliable cover which has always been to much for just my 4 russels on there own, with the help of a few other lads split up through the wood we managed to get 3 foxes,1 was took out with the gun with 1 shot, another the terriers caught as it went to cross a wide stream and another we ran to ground and with the help of one of the lads of this site we dug to it quickly and dispatched it cleanly with 1 shot, also the 1 in the stream which was caught was dispatched with a shot,we allowed the lurchers to have a rag after the foxes were shot as we use them for there marking on earths that we come across, was quite pleased today as my lurcher had his first daytime rabbit as well,it came out and made straight up a steep field, with the oz being a big heavy dog he made up ground quickly and caught it as it went to go through the hedge, not that i want him for rabbits in the day but it good to see he can move when he needs to,only got the 1 pic of the first 2 foxes we had,a dog and a vixen, vixen was swollen with cub but it was a case of it had to be done and the keeper was well happy knowing these first 2 foxes were gone as he been seeing them every day crossing the fields, cheers to all the lads who came along with there dogs ,a good day was had
