Recommended Posts

hello

i am looking for a lurcher pup in the six week holidays but first i need to build a kennel of course i have a kennel which my patterdale lives in but i haven't no run outside and big enough to hold any lurcher all day as he carn jump the wall but HOPEFULLY my lurcher will be able to when hes older the kennel my terrier is in is a 3ftx5ft wooden one with a bed and a small indoor run next to it but i was thinking make a hole big enough for a lurcher the other side and make a bed place for the lurcher and keep them together and i also want to make a folding run which i can fold to the sides of the kennel because my mum and dad are fussy buggers about the garden and they morn enough about the ferret i only need it when im in school as there are a lot of cats and other dogs about where i live i only want the run 4ft x 7dt and about 6ft high spilt into 4 parts which is foldaway approximately when i build the lurcher bed on the other side but do any of you guys keep a terrier in with your lurcher my patt is'nt the one to fight and start on dogs like some terriers hes steady enough and i only want a 23ish inch lurcher if anybody has any wooden style kennels with runs in they garden please give me some tips and pics to help me make mine

I'm 15 years old mate I had simular problem as u but I got a big timber dog run.

I know many people who keep lurchers and terriers together they seem to be ok but they do offtern have a disagreement.

you probably should go for 4 metal sections that build up and you can put a normal dog kennel inside for shelter. And to keep the dog dry you could just put a waterproof sheet over the top of the metal run.

Here is some pictures to help
