Gaz_1989 9,539
Alot of people will not advise keeping a lurcher terrier together. I certainly would not keep 2 males together. I have got a 9 month old lurcher dog which I have had from a pup and 6 months ago I got a 3 year old terrier botch. They have been kept together in same kennel and run since I got the bitch but not without problems. On 2 occasions the terrier booted the lurcher out of his kennel for whatever reason, resulting in me bringing the terrier bitch in the house for 3 days at a time so the lurcher could have his kennel back. Also her season was a nightmare as you can imagine. So as soon as I get a weekend off work I will be knocking another run up. As it stands, I have got a conservatory with patio doors opening onto a 10' x 10' slabbed area, fenced on 2 sides, so on the 3rd side I just made a 10' x 5' high frame out of 2"x2" timber and stapled 1" square galv mesh to it. I intend to extend this with a 8' x 5' run for the terrier and a door/gate inbetween. How on earth you will make or for that matter need a folding run is beyond me mate. Hope this helps, Gaz
