Freezing pigeon

Hi all I'm new to the huntinglife site and iv been reading a lot of ur post comments and stories and I hope to enjoy them for as long as I'm a member here ..

I was jst i'n my local army shop buying a few bits as it's time of year for the upcoming crow and pigeon shooting. I got chatting to the shop keeper and he was one of the old stock shooting 30/40 years back when they had no magnets or decoys ,so he told me wat they used to do is go out the night before shoot the pigeons and crows off the trees and put them i'n the freezer for the next day decoying.. He was telling me a few stories and it was great to listen to them and gets me more hyped up to get my hide and decoys on the field and get the barrels heated up..

Hope to hear a few comments if any one has tried this and some more old ideas from the old days from the old stocks they are great stories..
