pegleg33 134 Posted June 5, 2011 Report Share Posted June 5, 2011 It's a bit late now to catch pheasents up, plus i think it's illegal to do it after shooting season but i'm not 100% sure.I know people do catch up after the season finishes but it's very late now. All you need to do is make a frame with wire mesh around it with a couple of funnel entrances.Large on the outside of the cage and just small enough for a pheasent to squeeze through on the inside and feed the inside with corn.When the pheasents feed into the cage they're to stupid to find the way out Quote Link to post Share on other sites

B.P.R 2,798 Posted June 6, 2011 Report Share Posted June 6, 2011 we used to make them out of wooden fram in a circle shape. wire mesh on the outside with 2 openings. the openings were meshed tunnels going into the middle of the catcher so when the pheasants ran around the inside of the mesh trying to get out they wouldnt be able to find the tunnel. easy peasy Quote Link to post Share on other sites
