LLangibby huntsman

Recommended Posts

:D i brought an old photo a while ago from a car boot, the picture says Evan Williams, Huntsman LLangibby hounds, 1856-1902, and there is a little bit written about the two hounds in the photo with him, but what i was woundering if any one can help with is, Evan Williams is missing one hand and it is replaced with a hook, can any one tell me how he lost his hand, or any other information on him . cheers :D

Is the portrait a picture or a photo, framed or unframed? Could you describe it to me and tell me where you got it. It may be of interest to me.

Many thanks.

This photo is of my great-great-grandfather. If you want to sell it I may be interested. My email address is rlcallow@hotmail.com. Look forward to your reply. By the way he lost his arm in a shooting accident on the farm in Llangibby where was a bailiff.
