Double Barrell Shotgun(shorter barrell)

Hey there everyone,

Iv been shooting for many years and have built up a nice collection of guns

including an old and very tired shotgun.I need to make room in the gun cabnit

for a new addition so instead of selling the shotgun which is worth little or

nothing Im thinking of making the barrel shorter.My question is can this be

done and what lenth is within Irish law(ROI).

not sure mate, but on this side of the sea it's 24" minimum barrel length, anything shorter is used for robbing banks
