Guest traceyg
Got the incubator all set up and ready the new pheasant pen is nearly done. But hell the price of the eggs has gone up. 2 years ago when we started rearing we were paying 20p a egg , last year 25p . Had some prices in already ranging from 30p to 40p . My incubator hold 4,200 eggs but only planning on putting 1250 eggs in it . also tried to get some white pheasant eggs but up to now not having much luck . What price are you paying

Rolfe 2
Trace....There is a new publication out called "Modern Gamekeeping" published by Blaze publishing (£4.95). I have been sent a complimentary copy for my views and it appears very good reading........bit different from the normal glossy stuff. There is quite a list of Game Farms and Egg suppliers in the May issue..............I will PM you a list of those nearest you or who will deliver, it might be worth making the odd phone call to enquire about the best deals available Rolfe.
