tango 221 Posted April 29, 2011 Report Share Posted April 29, 2011 The Mourne show is on the 15th may 2011 in glassdrumman county down and is holding the first irish digging championship it stems from the terrier folk having little else to do but show over the summer months so this is the start of a few new ideas ive put this up here as i know a few of digging lads dont bother the show section Digging competition is run as follows it will be for teams of two,on entry each team will take a number from a hat which will correspond with a dig site.luck of the draw but all ground is the same. each team will use their own tools spade,shovel though a maddock is allowed first team to be able to place the box in their dig with the top stick level with original ground level wins, prizes will be double so each member has trophy each Quote Link to post
