First time FAC in 2 weeks!!

Hi all

 

Well finally had visit from FEO. All went well. Had original and copies of signed permissions, detailed maps of area covered ( approx 3 to 4 thousand acres!)new BASC membership details and approved brattonsound 6 gun cabinet and seperate large ammo safe all fitted accordingly.

 

So that was a good start.

 

After about an hour of very friendly chat and advice from FEO I have been authorised the following:

 

1.SAKO QUAD .17 HMR.

2.Barrel in .22 WMR for above quad.

3.Suitable expanding ammo.

4.Semi auto shotgun (self-loading type not pump action....my choice) ON THE F.A.C. so can get multi shot (more than 2 plus 1).

5.Any standard shotgun on seperate shotgun cert.

6.Sound mods suitable for the .17HMR and .22WMR.

 

So pretty pleased and in about 2 weeks should have ticket. Whole process will have been approx 40 days.

 

Just a quick question if I may.................Have I sort of limited my choice of RIFLE by stating 'I quite like the SAKO QUAD' ? I assume I have to stick with that make and model unless I get it changed to another .17/.22 before my ticket arrives ? FEO said I could have a 22-250 if I wanted.
