Foxy09 3
Is anyone using the Collarum in an urban environment, gardens etc? Im finding more and more Foxes are becoming trap shy in these environments and would like to hear about anyones experiences with this trap in urban or any environment really. Holdaway 2
I have used the Collarum quite a few times to remove foxes from gardens in town. Only one misfire so far and also had it attacked by a badger which it didn't catch. The stripey took a nasty smack in the face from it but continued to rip the bait off regardless, (I had the night vision camera set up). The reason it didn't catch the badger (I believe) was that the angle of pull was different to that of the longer legged fox, I think it would have taken the badger if the trap had been set on a banking though. I still use wires elsewhere, but find the Collarum really good in an urban environment. H Edited April 4, 2011 by Holdaway Quote Link to post
