New pup

Got myself a new pup, sire: greyhound/deerhound

dam: greyhound/wheaten

 

Pics are of her at 6 weeks and then 8 weeks.

Can't wait for her to get up a bit.

Thanks rocky1, she sure can eat, seems to grow by the day !

Have her chasing toys, still won't actually bring anything back to hand yet, to busy shaking it.

Huge frigin legs and knuckles on her, hoping she doesn't get too big, as she will be a general all round dog for me, mooching, ferreting and supporting terriers.

don,t worry about the size thing i,ve got bull/deerhound/saluki/grey 28tts 37 kg and his a top allrounder and surprizeing good bunny dog ,atb

Thats great to hear buddy, my hunting mate keeping saying I choose wrong and should have gotten a whippet, ok for rabbits but we take care of the red fellas quite a bit to, both in North and Southern Ireland, and a whippet would be too light for this I would suspect.

We do quite a lot of ferreting though, and not all land owners want us using a gun, so hopefully she will be a quieter answer to the bolters/net escapers.
