drumsoldier 0 Posted March 8, 2011 Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 Headed out with the AAS410, hide and decoys this morning.Got to my local permission about 9.30am and noticed around 100 pigeons roosting in the bottom wood . Headed off up to the 2 top rape fields where there was about another 100 feeding.Got the hide and decoys set up just next to a bunch of trees. Not one pigeon wanted to land just fly straight into the adjacent trees where I couldnt get a shot away . After a couple of hours I thought right, fed up of this malarky so set the hide up right at the bottom of the 2 trees they were roosting. After about 1/2 hour bingo in they come! 1 down .1/2 hour later 2 down and so on . Ended up with 4 in total, 1 lost in the bushes! before my feet and butt decided to freeze on me.
