Guest Ditch_Shitter
Ray. Biggish bloke. Glasses. Sandy coloured hair. Beard? Kept Border's and - last I knew of - lived in Kingston, just outside Lewes in Sussex. Hosted a Field Sportsmans Day there. What it is; I've just been looking at some shots of a bunch of terriers on a days ratting (sorry, I never thought to record the link. It's on this forum. " Invited Ratting ", I think?) Point is, I was admiring the Border and that made me think of Ray ..... About twenty odd years ago now, after his show, I got tied up in a situation which left me a passenger in a motor which burned rubber away from Ray's place. Me having just told him I'd go to said motor to get a fiver he'd asked me for a very nice old trap he'd been so good as to let me have at a well knocked down price. To this day I can't get it out of my mind, what he must have been thinking as his good friend went screeching out of there. Having spent the last couple of nights as 'Guest of Honour' with him and El'. Not to mention an American chap with whom we did serious damage to a bottle, in a trailer. There after everything went tits up for both Ray and I, quite seperately, though similarly, and we lost touch. Ray; I owe ye, mate. I'm still desperate and determined to pay ye. That f*ckin 'Taxidermist' who did ye fox mask, last I knew, ended up totally disgraced and torn apart on public tv, by the way. Ye may have seen that? I only heard about it ~ and knew. Anyway; Anyone here still have a link with Ray? Please let me know. Those were hectic days and I've never forgotten that I owe Ray and one other bloke, name of Richard C. Richard lent me a book, under duress, which he obviously never thought he'd get back again. I still have the bloody book, Richard C. of Surrey! I don't forget shit. It may just fall to the back of my mind for a decade or two. Maybe possible ways of trying to contact ye ebb and flow. But here I am, given the chance; Still trying Richard, by the way; Well spoken bloke. Had a son. Book was about Rabbiting. He'd know.
