jonansuki 21
i put my dog round them when she was 7/8 weeks old younger the better she was bit by a ferret and think her give her a shock and wont touch them now Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,217
As much exposure as possible in a safe way. Got to make the ferrets part of the scenery and part of the team to the dog, same as any other stock breaking. Mine wanted to kill them at first but now plays with them at 11 months. martnmagik 68
the younger the better but can be done anytime, just be patient and keep a close eye on them (obviously) i had a friend with a terrier that was a bit nippy with the jills he had so i introduced him to my hob who is steady with dogs but wont take any shit, long story short the terrier got a nip or two back and now wont even bother sniffing a ferret Quote Link to post
