oman 23
Hi all I am currently in the process of order a rifle stock from Boyds in the USA and was wondering what way does the customs work on such items they are happy to send the item but did not know much about custom costs. Is there a standard charge for items shipped in or what happens. the value of the stock is $99 or £60. cheers any information would be great as i dont want to get stung by nasty charges. k9delboy 138
Tell them to wrap it and send it to you along with a birthday card and a nil value. I was out a few years ago and caught a coyote which i had stuffed. My mate sent it home to me and because he put a value of £300 on it, I was then charged the pricely sum of £70 to collect it from the shipping agent when i collected it from Perth, Del.
