Fishing tips

Hi all,

 

This year im looking into getting into fishing properly so to speak. Over the years i have done fishing on/off and between me and my brothers we have gathered a fair bit of tackle, rods, reels etc, but only ever gone say a handful of times a year but come march i will be buying a new rod lisence which i havnt bought in years (usually get day ones), as i intend on going very regulary,

 

I know a few knotts, rigs and techniques but would love to learn some new ones and catch more fish aswell as different species etc

 

so basically ive started this thread in the hope people will put down there tips and techniques in order to not only help me but anyone else who would like some advice, or anyone looking for a new rig to try, new venue to fish, or even a new bait combination

 

anything from rigs that you have found work best toyour favorite venues, what tackle is needed for what fish etc so any tips or info on any aspect of fishing including sea fishing, also any places on the web or books you would reccomend, or tackle you like rods, reels absolutely anything lol
