danebrewer10 6 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Share Posted February 5, 2011 I found it easier to press the cartridge bottoms together with a vice, once th flange is formed, just place on on to of the other and wind the vice shut, this presses on into the other, much easier, though I found tat the whistle is quite wheasy and low volume, I think it'd benefit if the holes were smaller.... danebrewer10 6 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Share Posted February 12, 2011 could you use .410 shells to make the whistle? mmm I don't know, I'd think not as all the the whistles shaped like that on that market are quite thin and wide, I don't think that at .410 brass wouls have the right shaped chamber or enough volume to create the oscillations and the whistle... no harm in trying though!
