worst day ferreting

I went out yesterday morning about 10 o'clock i brought my mates and my little bro .THE ferrets we brought were my mates young poly my 2 jills.Went in on a permission by my house and done the first set was about a 40 holer we used my long nets on 1 side of the ditch and my mates and my purse nets on the other side .I said to my mate we will put his ferret down first as she is only a starter anyway about 10 mins after she goes in a bunny bolts and goes straight into my longnet and my mates ferret is really shy so she would not come out of the hole.So my mate said put my jill into the warren to help his ferret and i said what if they start to fight and he said dont worry they wont .Anyway my jill goes down and the next minute i hear squealing down the warren and then the 2 ferrets come out of the same hole and they are fighting but luckly none of the ferrets were hurt .So i said to my mate 'you said they woudnt fight ' he said i thought they wouldnt .I almost wanted to hit him with the spade lol.THEN i picked up my mates ferret and put her in the box.Then my jill bolted a rabbit and was dispatched quickly .then my ferret came out and bak in the box she went.SO my mates ferret was still in the hole for about another 20 mins so out with the locater and it marked 6 and a half feet .so i was digging with the polebar and my mate with the shovel and we dig about 3 feet and the ferret moved up the ditch .IT was pitch black and we were still digging so out with my mates father with his lamp and an extra spade so we were digging until about 9 .30 pm ,the next minute a rabbit bolts but we lost it because the nets were took down.SO we decided to dig were the ferret was and we dug 2 feet and she moved again .So we called it a day and we left my mates box at the hole were she was spotted last. but lukly my mate found her in the box today. That for me was the worst day ferreting ever
