[bANNED TEXT] forget that, don't think their quick enough for that. Have hunted wild boar with Dogo's, but a rabbit or rat is to quick in little spaces and make too fast turns. What weight is your Bullmastiff? Reckon she will be even too heavy built to run for a long time without doing herself a lot of damage, let alone the injuries by very quick and often turns in a blink of an eye. She is the fastest and most agile one. But even she is not quick enough in turning and twisting to do a lot of rats in a small place. She will be fast enough probably in a long sprint but when lets say a rabbit wil start turning and twisting, I doubt she will be fast enough to catch it. Your Bullmastiff will be heavier I guess and is (was)built for a different purpose than catching rabbits and rats. But you always can try, it can be a fun day although you catch maybe nothing! ;-) Frank
