royal marine 0
after losing one of my albino's the other got a bit depressed and went off his food for a bit and became a bit faddy on what he would eat so after some steady persuation with egg and meat ball's he is back to full strength. Not only that my locator has been playing up plus the bad weather so he's not been worked for a while. So we are all sorted today and decided to go do a couple of hours on my permision. the permision is vast and will keep me busy for a long time there is an enbankment in the middle of a few fields were the holes are endless. so i decided to just do a small part right at the start of the embankment there isn't as many holes due to were it is which was ideal to give mad murdoch the albino a little exercise. so the nets was down 10 in total and the one hole i never blocked we had a bolter (the one that got away). i had only just put the ferret down and it had bolted, never mind it went the right way as i will gradually be working right along the embankment. so 40mins has past and a guy who metal detects comes along and has a chat for an hour telling me about the land we was on and the old warraners very interesting as the land i was ferriting is old roman grounds and he has told me what to keep an eye out for if i ever have to dig which i did today. so i gave murdoch a good hour or so down there and we had nothing bolt and no sign of murdoch so i got out the locator and found were he was there wasn't much movement so out with the shovel and cut a nice hole and dug down to him were he was toe 2 toe with a bunny so i let the dog in to pull the rabbit by it's back side and then i took over for a quick dispatch. bought the ferret out and treat him to some rabbit liver, packed up back filled and home bound were the ferrets dinner was a nice fat rabbit a nice couple of hours work for his food a good couple of hours nothing massive in regards numbers but a good couple of hours and alot more to come as the numbers just keep getting bigger the further i go along the bank when they do i will put up the pics happy days Quote Link to post
