I had them with a view to having them de-activated or restored to take on a pheasant shoot. As I have a 2 YEAR old son, not getting to many chances to use so just taking up space. They are both hammer guns and in need of some tlc, one more so than the other. When my firearms inspector came to check my recent renewal, he told me that one was English, the other Belgium..No idea about proof dates but both on ticket. Oswestry Shropshire I may be interested in these - did you buy them or were they given to you? Do you know if the guns are in proof as it is illegal to sell them or even give them away if they are out of proof. Are the barrels pitted and any movement in the action when forend is removed?
