Countryplinker 4
Went out today to Pigeon Shoot, had already sussed flight lines etc, got to fields backing disused airfield, Pigeons flighted off field when gas gun sounded in the distance, watched them go in large ivy clad trees one end of ajoining field, after awhile starting coming back down into Winter Rape field , me & mate couldn't wait to get set-up, all was going well, setting up hide etc when we saw a white van & a car pull up other side of field behind perimeter fence, 10 mins later 4 blokes in hi-viz jackets got 2 remote planes out & started buzzin them around ,Day ruined , TWATS will go back on weekday when hopefully they'll be at work . Happy New Year . Quote Link to post

stevethefish 80
Think you got a problem, on some of my land I shoot I have AWAC's flying over, landing and taking off all the time they are only 50 feet high when they pass over just dropping onto the runway at RAF Waddington, they do scare the birds and even the ear defenders dont stop the noise plus the airwash from the engines blow the deeks away. Filmed this one today while ferreting, we were a bit further away and it was higher than where I shoot pigeons. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yl8Yzbq4uIA Edited January 6, 2011 by stevethefish Quote Link to post
