tubba 38 Posted December 23, 2010 Report Share Posted December 23, 2010 (edited) Went out yesterday in the snow for a bit off ferreting. Was really pleased with the jills i bred this year as they woked really well for their 1st time out. The day was going well until we decided to net up a big holly bush. We managed to net all the holes and bolted two. It was the second one when my dog lunged into the bush after a netted rabbit and cut himself on a rusty tin can (bast**d). Got a cut an inch and a half wide and 5 inches long so our day was cut short and we ended up at the vets getting him sewed up. Just goes to show anything can happen while out working the ferrets and dogs. Hopefully next time there will be no accidents atb Tubba. Edited December 23, 2010 by tubba Quote Link to post
