tracyb - Doglost 1
I've no doubt DOE has mentioned this BUT all people with working dogs. PLEASE be vigilant, chip and/or tattoo your dogs. I know lots dont like them neutered - but anything that cuts down on chance of them been lifted is worth it. We have had massive increase in working dogs been stolen from all over- not everyone knows of Doglost, not everyone uses these forums. Ive not been around much due to other problems/commitments with my rescue BUT Watch where you are leaving your dogs in cars, jeeps. At shows keep them with you. If you are unlucky enough to lose a dog or have it stolen then ring DOGLOST- we are here to get everyones dogs back whether they are working dogs or not. If your dog goes missing- GO to your local pounds- we have dogs coming in all the time. I think people breeding have now realised not to have people to the house to look at pups -

doe 30
Good advice Tracy, can I just add that you need to have photos of your dogs too, especialy if not chipped. Keep a record of any markings or scars and get the photos done. Most mobile phones have a camera in them and the pics can be sent to us by text, you will also be able to use the photos as proof that the dog is yours if it is picked up. Stay safe. tracyb - Doglost 1
If my boring going on every month about chipping and/or tattooing stops one working dog been nicked then its a result. This is on the increase and they are literally nicked to order. The faster we can get onto missing/stolen dogs then better. The quicker we get pics the better. We have as a group started to get a lot of help from police, dog wardens, and the very people who get accused of stealing them. Put this number in your phone 0844 8003220 its Doglost H/o IF your dog goes missing either log on www.doglost.co.uk or phone above number - or get Doe or myself on here Dogs Name Age Breed Colour Markings Scars, Tag Chip Neutered Where Lost Date Contact number Be vigilant- if you got pups DONT have people coming to house seeing your kennel set up outside. You guys are stupid- protect your dogs.
