dadioles 68 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 hmmm well in that case (pardon the pun) poor show on the part of the manufacturer, I guess it's down to the fact that they make so many of the darn things that no matter how stringent the QC checks, there's bound to be one slip through the net at some stage... I have not noticed any problems with the Hornady 17 GR Max and have put about 1500 (various batch numbers) through my Anschutz. My son wanted me to keep empty shell cases for an art project so I have just looked through a few hundred used empty shell cases and none of them are split after being fired either.
