Tobias 0
while out lamping the other night we heard a loud shreek/screech so i turned on the lamp and there was 3 foxes no more than 100yards from us so as my mate got ready to take a shot, one of the other foxes tried to mount the one he was going to shoot so he shot as the other one moved off one dead fox but the other 2 only bolted about 50yards up the field and stopped to look back so my mate had a second one quickly. Once we picked them up they were both vixens so we laughed thinking lesbo's and got into the next field, on with the light to see another fox sat looking at us about 140yards chest on so down goes no3 in less than 15mins but this one was a dog fox so after looking around some more and only seeing one we could not shoot we called it a good night,Just wondering is it to early for foxes to be mating yet.
