well took the kid out lamping tnite only up the road .bugger me did we no see a fox in the first field but we were on the road and we bumped it and it headed into the woods .she said can we go and get it so i said cmone then we got into the field and i got the riffle ready .i knew where the fox was heading .to a deed cow so i thought i would prettend to her that i was tracking it .we got out into the field where the fox was and i told her to kneel down and feel the ground where it had been i said that i cuold feel and smell it{she was taking all this in }so we made our way through the woods witch was abit io a mission with her in tow .down over the burn and up a shale bing all the time she was wispering asking me if we would see it again .of course thers me telling her no to worry i was t.racking it you know checking leafs. i was realy laying it on thick.when we got to the top of the hill i put the lamp on and there it was feeding on the cow.so we went closer so she could see it and she was mesmirized .closer i said to her and we stalked in a bit closer .only about yrds away and i swear i could feel her shake with excitement.so i gave her the lamp and i set up the sticks to shoot .she flicked on the beam i took aim on the fox squeezed the trigger the gun spat out the round AND THE FOX LEGGED IT A FECKING MISSED couldny believe it.and to make matters worse the first thing she said to me was wait till i tell grandad the mora .lol need to take her ouy again to save face
