Tobias 0
Well ive got a question as some of you might know ive been looking at getting my barrel shortened on my 223 and have finally found some where local this is not the problem, but what the gunsmith found is not good he said the internal part of the mod is badly coroded to the thread of the barrel and has started damaging the crown and also the mod is not in good shape and has advised me to get another. My current mod is made by Pes and so i called the firearms HQ today and they said put in for a one for one variation just on the mod and fill out the forms as normal,Now section 19 states where do you intend on using it and details . The problem is the land owner i shoot for is out of the country for the next month so do i fill out the details as normal there name and number as the police won't be able to contact them to check and i cant let the owner know whats going on either. What should i do ? liongeorge 7
You shouldn't need a variation, a moderator is not listed on your license as manufacturer or serial number specific. Just take the old one to the gunshop when you pick up your new one, they'll destroy it you go home with one moderator jobs a good un. Quote Link to post
